As part of its commitment to holistic education and experiential learning, Startrite Christian College recently organized an inspiring educational tour dubbed "Tour du Accra" for students of the Upper Secondary level. The trip provided a valuable opportunity for learners to step out of the classroom and engage directly with Ghana’s rich history, culture, and civic legacy.
The tour took students to some of Accra’s most iconic historical and educational sites, including the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, where students learned about the life and achievements of Ghana’s first president and founding father. Standing before the revered monument, students reflected on themes of leadership, patriotism, and national identity.
Clad in their Startrite uniforms and brimming with curiosity, the students engaged in thoughtful discussions, asked insightful questions, and participated in guided sessions at each stop. The educational tour not only complemented their academic curriculum but also inspired them to appreciate their national heritage and understand their roles as responsible citizens.
“We believe in learning beyond the classroom,” remarked one of the coordinators. “This tour was designed to inspire students to connect theory with real-world experience, all while upholding the values of integrity, excellence, and faith that define Startrite Christian College.”
"Tour du Accra" was not just an excursion—it was a journey of discovery, unity, and vision. Startrite Christian College continues to lead in nurturing well-rounded, God-fearing future leaders equipped to serve both God and country.
